           For the past 7 years of my life, the months of April and May are certainly the roller coasters of the year. I have definetely learned multiple mental and practical lessons. Things like where to stand in front of the judges..or how to be more effective in practice. Speech competitions have driven me up the roof but also happiness for many reasons.            I've been very happy that I was raised in a Christian family where I was raised up really happily. There weren't a lot of fights or family problems that people may assumed in the typical "American family." God has simply blessed me with family, church and friends that cared. But in speech competition, I experienced downfall where I had to ask God to pick up back up because I couldn't settle for defeat. The greater lessons seem to unfold each year and I simply couldn't ask for more.     It's hard to understand what "unity" truly menas until you've actually experienced it yourself! Last night, I really got a chance to see "unity" unravel before my eyes! Sing, Dance, Cheer and Laugh are four simple verbs that are around us every single day, but when you see it done in worship and praise to our Heavenly Father, I understand what people mean when they say the Body of Believers...      I had a great time yesterday not because of those awkward moments during our presentation when we weren't insync but the moments where we all had a common goal..and that was to send our wishes to someone who was in need of encourgement and prayer... Each time I close my eyes, I still snapshots and memories of this March Break's Winter Camp @UCC. If anyone told me several years ago that I would be part of a committee that would plan for this event, I would have probably laughed and said this was a complete joke. But here I am, and God truly blessed me with the opportunity to work with Raphy, Steve and Montana to plan a camp filled with memories and laughter!        God's plans are truly amazing and He has certainly blessed me with this opportunity to lead this year.           I thought that today was a really interesting day filled with surprises and happiness. I never remembered seeing the traditional Valentine's Day as such an important day for teenagers. Valentine's Day seem to be more than just a normal day for those that are in a romantic relationship...but also a time for friends to show that they care for one another. Walking down the hallway, I saw girls wearing the typical red, white and pink valentine's day colours and...of course, the flowers in some their hands as they walk from class to class.      There are always people in the world that question about what it truly means to dedicated to God everyday 24/7. For many university or high school or even elementary students, studying takes up a really long time...but have you ever wondered how you can worship and study for God all at once. I'm not some pastor or some knowledgable person but this is what I believe.       I believe that it means that whatever I do, I do to my full potential because he has given me the strength to do so. He has created me with the ability to have an education, to be abilty to be in a school filled with happiness and joy. That doesn't really come naturally for many kids around the world. hey, for all those out there that are going to have exams soon, i know the pressure is on to do your best and get a A+. There is often a misconception that I have regarding some of where my pressure comes from. Everyone tells me about the Asian parents stereotype but I can't strongly say that IT IS NOT true. For all those who is in the same train as me, I would just like to say...do your best and that God will do the rest. The pressure that these test offer are always so heavily on your shoulder. But the reality is, it's coming from yourselves. If you believe if or not, it is one of the most interesting "donw-to-earth" facts I've gotten to understand! It's not wrong or right to have a sense of pressure when you walk into the exam room but just remember that once you enter that room, you need to simply apply ALL of what you've learned and work your butt off! I always smiled and shock my head each time I hear it around...After yesterday's family gathering, I truly knew what that chessy phrase meant.
